A Silent Blesser

There are many tools and practices for how we can direct our consciousness and attention to improve our life, our peace or our world. This particular practice improves all of these - it is to become a silent blesser.

As you go about your day, silently bless everything and everyone that enters your field of consciousness. Physically, the things you see and hear you can bless - by mentally saying “bless you” or simply allowing an energy of Love and Blessing to flow. Just a few moments of this practice will transform your own state, as you will be focusing on Love rather than anything else (very handy if you’re otherwise thinking negatively).

In the blessing of things, you are pouring Love into them - no matter what it is, it becomes more beautiful, nicer, healthier, happier or just better to be around than before. You will become surrounded by things that you love, and what will that do for your levels of peace? What will that do for the world - if you are transforming everything with your blessing of Love?

And of course, you don’t have to be silent about it - go out and kiss that tree and tell it you love it!! I’ll be doing the same… !

As we approach the New Year and the New Year celebration we are given a beautiful opportunity to attune to the new vibrations that are making their way into our collective reality here on Earth. In order to really experience that, there is a simple method - listening. This is the way to attunement. Take as long as you need for each step - maybe 5-10 seconds or more, really allow the state to deepen in you.

Simply relax, letting go of tension, breathing it out on the outbreath.

Keep going: emptying, emptying, emptying.

Allow yourself to settle. Be comfortable.

Rest in the Silence of your Heart. Be still inside.

Smile as you experience this nourishing feeling of Peace.

And now listen, with your Heart, to this moment.

Continue to empty on the outbreath, allowing yourself to receive more of the moment.

Let this process continue for as long as you are moved to - acknowledging any feelings or insights that come up as you are attuning to the vibrations of this moment and this time on Earth.

When you are ready to continue your day in activity, give thanks for this gift, and bring as much of this awareness of the moment as you can with you into your daily consciousness by simply choosing to anchor it (touch your thumbs and index fingers together!).

And so from the Harmony of My True Being to Yours, I join you in the Peace of the Moment and wish you every Joy and Blessing for 2010. Namaste!

The Secret Place

Allow yourself some gentle breaths before reading further.

Now move slowly through this experience of your own Divinity:

Enter now the Secret Place where God resides.

This place is a Temple within Yourself.

This Temple is You.

Feel the Divinity of this place.

Feel the Grace, the Beauty, the Purity.

Feel the Love and the Joy of being here in this place.

Feel the Angels all around you, bathing you in Their Love, in God’s Love.

Feel the One Love of God Herself.

You are One with that Love.

That Love is You.

Breathe now for a few minutes, basking in the incredible Love of Our Creator. The Love That We Are.

Light Up Your Mind

Light Up Your Mind. For you have spent a lifetime in darkness, not knowing that you were in a room of your own making. This time that is upon you is the time for awakening, for enlightenment. For those of you who feel this is a lofty idea, and not relevant to your personal life, we say that is not so. For your personal life will be utterly transformed by the lighting up of your mind, by the freeing of yourself from the walls that YOU have created, and so have the power to bring down. These walls may keep you hidden, keep you safe in the definition that you have made for it, but there is not enough time to stay hidden if you wish to transform this world.

Take a deep breath, and allow your body to relax and sink into Mother Earth’s loving embrace with every exhale. Feel that support, and the softness in you that allows for that support to be fully welcomed and utilized.

As you relax, begin to feel yourself breathing into all parts of your body, gently, right to the tips of your fingers, right to the tips of your toes, right to the top of your head. Breathe in that support. Breathe in that Love. Breathe in that softness.

This will naturally draw your awareness into your heart. For your heart is where your true connection to Mother Earth lies.

And from this space, open your mind. Imagine it as a ball of light within a box, and imagine the walls of that box unfolding, letting the true radiance of your Might - your Mind of Light - shine forth. Until there are no walls, and there is only Light. Be with this feeling, anchoring it into your personality, for as long as is comfortable.

For we bear witness to those who have made the mind their enemy, when in truth, it is only a tool to be used for your expression and experience. Yes, those who have made it the enemy have been using it in the direction of Fear, yet just one thought can change that direction, and change the momentum of the mind’s function. Choose now Beloved, choose to use your mind as a tool to express Love on this planet. Replace all thoughts of fear with ones of Love, and reverse the momentum. Make your mind a beautiful garden full of the flowers of Love. And your personal life will be tranformed.

Free Healing Meditation

I have found that many people are in need of support in creating peace, relaxation, and clarity in their lives. When we get into troubles in life, be they fears, stress, disempowerment or victimhood, then this is an indication that something within us is creating disharmony in our lives. Rather than it being events themselves, it is our response that is causing the problem, and so this a great blessing for us to know - as we are in direct control of our internal world and can affect change in the direction that we would like.

One such method for this is meditation - giving attention to our inner world and letting go of tension, worry, and any kind of thoughts that may be troubling us. The benefits of this practice are immense, from greater peace, clarity, productivity, confidence, love, happiness and ability to consciously change our patterns or behaviours, to improvements in physical health, healing and functioning.

While I appreciate the value in learning techniques for bringing focused attention inwards, connecting to Spirit, to our True Selves, and that peace within us, I also recognize that these experiences can be difficult to experience for those beginning, and so I am offering here a free sound healing meditation to lead you gently yet directly into a meditative state, to bring healing, peace, relaxation and greater awareness in your life - as well as clearing, balancing and energizing your chakras and energy system.

A Meditation For Softening The Sense Of Separation

Take a deep breath.

Turn your attention inside.

Feel that you are One with your breath.

You are One with the ebb and the flow of it.

You are One with the inhale and the exhale.

Breathe, and notice how your awareness expands.

Notice how the sense of separation softens.

The walls are breaking down.

These walls you have placed there, and it is time to let them fall.

Awareness does this all by itself. It does not require any heroics, or any bulldozer to bring down the walls you have placed around your heart.

It may seem that vulnerability will come in doing that. And it will.

But know that the caged bird cannot fly into the sky, and it is freedom that you are after.

Be free.

Be open.

Be gentle.

Breathe.

The Game Of Relaxation

Relax.

Breathe.

I invite you to feel. Are there places of tension in your body? Are there worries in your mind? Or are you at peace, and relaxed?

Many of us think that we cannot relax, because there is too much to do, or because at any moment something might happen that we do not like. Something we are afraid of might come. Something bad might happen to our family or friends, or to us. We might meet someone we don’t like, or someone might do something that we don’t like. We fear we’ll fall over if we relax, or that we’ll become vulnerable and be hurt.

To these thoughts I would say this: Can tension stop any of these things from happening?

Relaxation improves every aspect of your life. The more you can relax, the better things work. Your body works better. Your mind works better. Your life works better.

The question you might be asking is how to relax when so many things outside of you cause you to react in fear or worry or tension. This really is the problem: relying on your state of relaxation or tension to be based on what is going on outside of you. You react to what is outside of you, what happens to you. The solution is to do the reverse. The solution is to choose relaxation internally, and let that affect the world outside of you.

Take a deep breath.

Let go.

See just how much you can relax.

Think of it as a game you play. The game of relaxation.

It feels good to play. Play this game as often as you think of it.

Relax as much as you can in every moment.

When you are moving, see how much you can relax while moving.

When you are doing something, see how much you can relax while doing it. See just how effortless it can become.

If you find yourself becoming tense, breathe and relax, and play the game of relaxation even amidst an argument you might be having with someone. Play it even when someone does something you do not like. Play it even when you are doing something that frightens you.

Your relaxation will change the outside world. It will change your world. It will change you.

Breathe…… and relax.

A Tool For Creating Fullness

Are you experiencing a fullness in your life, or are you experiencing an emptiness or lack?

Take a moment now, feel within, breathe, and see which you are experiencing.

It is no coincidence that those who are filled with Love are also filled with power and abundance, that they are generous and seem to have an infinite supply from which to give from. It may be that you feel that Love is not enough. If that is the case for you, I encourage you to look honestly at yourself, and the areas of your life where you are experiencing lack, and ask yourself this:

“Am I experiencing Love in this area, this situation?”

If you are experiencing fear, lack, uncertainty, doubt, or struggle, then you will know the answer - Love is missing.

Write an inventory of the areas of lack, as an honest and in the moment appraisal of how you have created your life, and then for each one repeat 3 times:

“I allow Love to flow into this area or situation.”

Burn or tear up the inventory list (or delete if on a computer!), and go about your day, watching for guidance and hints from the Universe about how to Love more completely.
